Eastern Football
We, Smurf and me that is, will be traveling around the grounds of the Eastern Counties Football League meeting friends, interviewing club supporters and officials and generally having a good time as the football season rolls on. We will also be getting to some grounds in the Essex Senior League as well as some from the lower leagues in the area.

We visited Walmer Road today and watched an interesting game that ended in a stalemate though either team could have scored a couple of good goals but some excellent keeping by all keepers kept it 0-0. This week we have another set of interesting interviews from both teams plus one from a more than impartial supporter. As always our thanks to everyone for letting us interview them and my deepest apologies to Dave, K&P Secretary as his interview seems to have been deleted at some point, we'll just have to grab him at another game and embarras him all over again.

I've no idea how it got deleted Dave but I'm sure we'll catch up with you during the season. I know I enjoyed the day but then I always enjoy a visit to Walmer Rd and the Ricci Butler Fan Club had another great days as the man spoke to her once again.
Next week me and Smurf will be going over to newly promoted Swaffham Town as they take on Lowestoft Town on what is the first weekend of the new season.
